Good day guyz, it being a while. Today I will help you solve the terrible issues you face regarding signing in to your Gmail account which says incorrect password or email. 

As you all know, at QTechPluz, we always love to help you with tricks and tips to make your daily life activities easier, now in this article I will guide you well with a very simple step by step process with screen shot, 'if time allow' on how you can reset your Gmail password without taking much of your time.

If you have read one or two of my tricks and tips post or our Hacking tips, you will see it started clear that I'm not really a Hacker but I love posting Hacking article that help alot, now I want to help you to reset your Gmail password without number or recovery Email.

Searching online, you will find different types of articles on how to reset your Google account password, but believe me this article will show you different ways you can use to reset Gmail Password Without Recovery Phone Number or Email. Stay tuned and let Ride on.

Maybe you don't know that Google has changed from its old sign up page with a new look which don't guarantee an easy process of account recovery.

Actually my thought was that Google has brought back the recovery option where you will have to answer some security question in order to gain access to reset Google account password.

If am not mistaken, we all face different types of issues that require Gmail password recovery. 

This includes forgotten of Gmail login password or forgotten email but remember password or you might even forgot both the Gmail password and security question.

Mind you, if you don't have access to your Gmail account automatically you won't have access to your Emails, YouTube account, Google , Google maps, Google drive, Blog, WordPress and other useful Google platforms.

I have said it up there, believe me, if you follow all the steps by step listed on this article, and you have your Gmail security set up, I guarantee you that your Google account will be recovered whenever you get locked out.

What pains me most is that, why do you want to give yourself the stress of resetting Google password, when you can actually write it down and have access to it anytime you need. But the problem is that most of us really don’t care about Gmail password. Trust me, one of the thing I hate most in my life is resetting Gmail account password. 

However, sometime Google itself asks you to check out your password, whenever they notice a new sign in from unknown source, so please always at all costs to protect your Google account . That's why I wrote a post about how to set a strong password. check here. 

Most times you frustrated when trying to log in to my numerous Gmail accounts and you are having incorrect password. What actually causes this is because you are too eager and restless. Now I want use to try this simple tips and am sure it will help... First of all take a Deep Breath, Calm down, Don’t rush yourself, believe me, you have the password up there in your head, you just need to think through and you will get it. Just keep trying all possible passwords you think, it could be your Nickname, Name, Age, Date of Birth, Friends name or kids name.

Note: Don't forget, If you never activate any of this options as recovery options for your Google account, you won't be able to activate your account. Google wants to secure accounts at all costs. So in one way or another, you most prove to Google that you're actually the owner of the account that you are trying to reset, they’ll literally pay deaf ears and blind eyes to your resets request.

Tips 1: 

How to Reset Gmail Password 

Part 1. 

Now, put on cellular data and ahead to the Google login page, either from your PCs or Smartphones, if you're using PC, go to Gmail.com, but if you're using Smartphone, go to settings and click on Account the select Google. Type in your Email address and then click or tap on NEXT.

You will then see a box telling you to enter your password, But since you don’t know or can’t remember your password at that moment,  Click on ”Forgot password”

You will then see a prompt asking you to Enter the last password you remember using with this Google Account.

 Just Ignore it. And click the option that says Try another way.

Now, in this window, you will be ask to confirm the phone number that you added to your Google account. Enter your phone number and click on send.

Within a short time, you will receive the verification code from Google, simply insert the code into the box provided by Google, this is to verify it's you.

Now, have you tried that and you can't reset your password with phone number, it means you didn’t give Google a phone number in the first instance when signing up. 

Or, you added a number for verification, but you lost the number you gave to Google?

OK. That's not the end, If you did lose your phone number in the event of a theft, in most countries you can visit your service provider, complain to them and they’ll surely give you a new sim card with your old number, if you had provide them with the necessary information about the lose one.  

But in some cases you can’t retrieve your old number, in the sense that you don't have the details of the lose sim, then your case is quite serious; so ride on with me... 

Never give up, all you need to do is go to Googles Account Support page, you will be asked some questions about your account for verification purpose. 

Tips 2: 

How to Reset Gmail Password 

Part 2. 

Trust me, If you had added more details about you to secure your Google account by providing more recovery details, then you will probably have different options that would help you reset your Gmail password when you are locked out.

But If you didn't? Then this part isn't for you, so you probably scroll down to Part 3 or 4.

With what have said earlier, if you have added a phone verification method for your Google account, you won't have to get to this extend or if you had written your password down somewhere. 

But the best you can do is to add your number to Google account because this gives you an upper hand on the account anytime.

Now, go to Google Account Support Page.

Type in your Email address then click on NEXT. Now you will be ask to receive the verification code via text, just ignore and tap on ”try another way”. You should then see a request asking you if you would want to Get a prompt on your device?. (Be sure to have your device handy and connected with Internet).

On your mobile device, you will receive a notification to confirm itself you, just click on YES, then tap on the number showing on your log in screen.

Now you will be taken to another page, On the page, Select a strong password, and you are good to go... 

This is another awesome way which I once recover me Gmail account and I believe it will help you as well. But take note that, before this part can work for you, you most have already added your mobile device as a recovery option and have Internet access on your device.

But if you did not set your mobile device as a Google Account recovery option or you don't have your phone connected to Internet, then you would probably move on to Part 3. 

Tips 3: 

How to Reset Gmail Password 

Part 3. 

Now, nothing much to say, just go to Google Account Support Page. Then input your Email address and proceed.

Without saying much, just Skip all above mentioned part that didn’t work for you, you can skip by just clicking on (Try a different question). Enter complete recovery Email. (You must have already added a recovery email address for this to work).

Click on send and wait for Google’s reply on the recovery Email’s inbox. Make sure you have access to the recovery email, If it doesn’t look familiar or you no longer have access to it then you have to move on to Part 4 of this article.

But mind you, if you haven't add any recovery email to the Google account, you have to try other part on this article because this part won't work for you. 

Tips 4: 

How to Reset Gmail Password

 Part 4. 

OK, now that you Don’t have access to your recovery email, never give up yet. 

Before I proceed with part 4, you should at all cost think deeply maybe you could remember your recovery Email address, it could be your Yahoo mail or your friend’s Email account….. But if you still don't get it. Moving On... 

But before I proceed, I won't lie to you this part 4 is somehow difficult. But if you are genius, you will find it easier. 

Now, Open Googles Google Account Support Page. Then type in your Email Address. Then skip all the above part that were not helpful to you till you get to where you see Month and Year.

You will have to answer a difficult question, that is why I said it for only the genius. The question is ”When did you create this Google account” If you can provide the correct month and year then you have a shot at resetting your Gmail password.

Believe me, if this still doesn’t work for you, just because you don't provide the correct month and year, then your case is getting to a whole new level of difficult… follow me. 

Just of recent I learnt that Google no longer creates Security questions and answers, but if your account is old enough you would still have that option.

Trust me, am not to sure about that I just said. But I do know that another way of resetting your Gmail password is by answering a secret question provided by Google. A question they feel only you would have the answer to.

Tips 5: 

How to Reset Gmail Password 

Part 5. 

Nothing much here, just Skip all the above from part 1 to 4 if non of it works for you. Now, here is the final option which I know you can retrieving your Google account.

Now go to Google Account Support Page, then skip all the previous options till you get to where you would ”Answer the security question you added to your account“.

Here, nothing much is required than you providing the correct answer to the security question you have set when creating your Google account.

Now that you successfully complete the part 5 you might be redirected to part 3 where you will need to enter a recovery email address.

Anyway, Google is not to be blamed though. Why I said this is that someone might have knew your childhood best friend’s name, the person will have access to my Gmail account easily. So, the redirect is not actually a bad idea after all. But it is annoying though.

But if for instance you have "Forgot your Gmail Password And Secret Question". 

If you cannot remember the answer to the secret question you set on Google, I’ll be frank with you, Retrieving your Gmail account will be impossible 🙅 and you just have to forget about it.

Now, If you are unable to provide Google with correct information to claim the account ownership, then the best alternative for you is to create a new Google account with a password you won't forget easily. Check post on password Tips. 

You may be thinking that "Why is it so hard to recover a Google Account?". 

Trust me, Google won't bend their rules because of your account, Google takes privacy and security very seriously and they will only return an account if they are sure that the account is Going to the right owner. The best way to regain access to your account is to keep your recovery options updated.
