20. Data Saver:

Data Saver to block apps that runs on system background, one of the most important features of Android 7.0 and 7.1 also available on Android 6.0 marshmallow. This is a good way to take control over your Android phone battery usage and data usage while in standby.

Whenever you put on Data Saver, it allow you to choose which apps have data access when the screen is off. It’s particularly handy for keeping battery and data-draining apps like Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter, Google Plus, Email Apps and many more...
Data Saver is disabled as standard, but you’ll find its switch in Settings >> Data Usage >> Data Saver. Then click on it and you can choose the apps that you want to have full access when in standby.

19. Android 7.0 is the only Operating System that allows you to Scale the Screen to your Liking. 

The new Android nougat allow a custom interfaces that let you fiddle with how much info is crammed onto each screen. The feature has finally come to standard Android, and it works better than ever since.
To set this up, go to Settings >> Display >> Display Size, you can alter the scale of the whole OS. It changes icon and font sizes, but makes sure each setting looks right on your device’s screen.

18. Make some of your Notifications silent or block it totally. 

There are some apps which are so much important and we don't want to miss any notifications from. In other not to, Android 7.0 lets you "Silence or Block" some kinds of app notifications. 

In most cases if you don’t want to be notified of your Facebook friends birthdays date, To do this, just drag down on the notification bar and press and hold on the notification. This will brings up some radio buttons to let you make notifications Silent or Block.

17. Best uses for Multi-Window Multi-Tasking
The Multi-Window feature is use to run two different apps at the same time by dividing the screen into 2. Like: "Writing your article with Evernote on one side and using your dictionary on the other", or "Chatting on Whatsapp while reading a Facebook posts", or "using Google Chrome on one side and on the other side using WPS PDF Reader".

16. Comes with some many new Emojis. 

In the new operating system, Google has added enough new emojis to its new OS Android 7.0 Nougat. Quite a lot of them are existing emojis but now in different way also available with extra skin colours. Google has also redesigned ‘people’ emojis to make them look a tiny bit more realistic then before. Though they are still cartoonist.
New emojis include things like a salamander, some French bread, a kiwi fruit, a peanut and, a TrustedReviews favourite, a pitch black heart lots more...


15. Simple way to activate Developer Mode

With the steps, you can activate Developer Mode on all kinds of Android operating system. With a "Developer Mode", you will get access to lots of extra control over operating system.

With the instructions given, am very sure if you are not a phone guru like me, you probably won’t want to touch much of the Developer Mode Options. However, you may wish to know things that are included in the option just go to Settings >> Scroll down to About >> then open and look for the >> Build Number >> tap on it until a pop-up appears to tell you you’re a Developer. This will make a Developer Options menu appear in Settings.
Am sure one of the developer's mode you will want to activate is the option that allow the operating system to stay awake while charging.

14. A Quick Switch between two recently used Apps. 
Another amazing tips of the Android 7.0 Nougat is that it makes it easier than any other operating systems to move between apps: Just double-tap your device's Overview key that's the typically square-shaped icon 🔳 next to Home key to quickly switch between your two most recently used apps. 


13. Drag Copied Text from one App to Another. 

Most times, we want to copy text from one app to another, with Nougat it so much easier than ever. All you have to do is to activate Nougat's split-screen mode, Select the text you want, then press and hold your finger on the screen for a second and drag it to the other window. As long as the apps you're using allow split-screen, the text will automatically paste itself.

12. Use different Google Chrome tabs side by side.

With the Nougat's screen-split Mode, you can use two different Chrome tabs side by side. Just open a new tab in Chrome, press and hold the Overview key next to the Home key and then tap on the Google Chrome's three gray dot menu icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Then you will see "Move to other window". Click on it and that's all.

11. Move Between Sections in your System Settings. 
Most time when looking for a serious settings on your device but you don't or forgotten the exact place to locate it, then you need to open one settings section one after another but on Android 7.0 Nougat has a new quick-navigation menu for that very purpose. Swipe inward from the left of the screen or look for the three-line "hamburger ⚞" icon in the upper-left corner.

10. Quick Settings Panel. 

On Android 7.0 Nougat, you have some subtle but significant new features that allow you swipe down once from the top of your screen, you can now see a series of quick-access icons like Wi-Fi, Cellular Date, Battery, Do Not Disturb, Bluetooth, and Airplane mode. Tapping any of the icons in that area will toggle the associated function On and OFF.  Also in the Quick Settings panel, you can long-press any icon to go directly to the associated area of your full system settings.

9. Edit Android 7.0 Nougat's Quick Settings Tiles.

On the latest version of Android that's nougat, you can edit the quick settings. Swipe down from the top of your screen twice, then tap the edit command which is located either the lower-right corner with the word "Edit"  or with a pencil icon in the upper-right corner to rearrange the icons and add or remove functions from the list. Take Note: When editing your Quick Settings, you need to pay attention to which icons you place in the first six positions of the Quick Settings because these icons in those spots will appear as the quick-access toggles in the smaller single-swipe-down view.

8. "Night Mode" or "Night Light".

This feature only available on Android 7.1, but it's available only on select devices with compatible hardware. If your device support this feature, you will find it titled Night Light in your Quick Settings area. Just tap on it and it will tint your screen light to make it easier on the eyes in dim lighting. Also you can save yourself from tap all the time by tell your device to activate Night Light on its own when needed. Go to Settings >> Display >> Night Light, then tap "Turn on automatically" and select either "Sunset to Sunrise" or "Custom schedule". 

7. Expanding your Gmail, Whatsapp, Yahoo and others notification to lets you see all your recent Message. 

Here's an amazing tips of the Android 7.0 that helps you expand notifications. They look a bit more complicated than before, but let you rely more on your drop-down menu, and less on apps.
To the right side of your notifications you will see a tiny arrow button. This lets you expand that notification to show all of your recent unread messages headlines. It save you from opening apps each time you a notification.

5. Reply to any Notifications from the Home Screen. 

One of the feature I love most on Android 7.0 Nougat is the reply from the home screen, using nougat 7.0, it allow you to reply to messages from the notification itself.
Clicks on the message’s notification which you want to reply and click on Reply. A text box will appear, letting you reply without having to actually dip into the messenger app at all.

4. Check Battery Drain from your HomeScreen. 

Why I so much love the Android 7.0 is that it makes life easier and become more complicated in order to make things quicker than ever. For example, you can now look at a battery drain graph just by clicking the battery icon in the drop-down menu and others settings section.
Also show you the battery percentage, it can show an estimate of how much longer the battery will last before the next charge. More practically, there’s also a Battery Saver switch in this pop-up. This limits background data, location services and throttles the CPU to make the battery last longer without switching to ultra mode.

3. Set "Do Not Disturb". 

Do Not Disturb key helps you to activate all kinds of sound and vibration plus including alarm, music, video and game to be on Silent mode. Also doing this to help you keep your phone quiet at night and then automatically turn your sound back to normal when your alarm goes off in the morning. To set this up, go into the Sound section in the Settings >> click on "Do not disturb" followed by "Automatic rules." Use the on-screen command to add a new rule, then select "Time rule" and name it whatever you want. Also set the days and times for whenever you want your phone to stay silent mode, then be sure to set the "Do not disturb" setting to either "Alarms only" or "Priority only" or "Total silence". and activate the "Alarm can override end time" option.

2. Enlarge Font size.

Most times, you may prefer to enlarge just the words on your screen without affecting anything else, enlarging font size for better view so as to read a very long article. The Display section of your device's settings has a second option called "Font size." go to Settings >> Display >> font size . Now you are good to go.

1. Do you know that Android 7.0 Nougat lets you customize the order of apps in Android's system-level Share menu. You might never know it from looking, but The next time you share something from anywhere on your phone, press and hold any app in the list and select the "Pin" option that pops up. That app will now always appear at the top of your Share list. Don't forget that you can pin multiple apps, too, and they'll appear in alphabetical order at the start of the list.
